' Former Cardiff man Joe Ledley surprised by Swansea fans' reception '
JOE Ledley admitted the reception from the Swansea City fans was not as bad as expected on Saturday following his Cardiff City connections.
The midfielder, who spent six years with the Bluebirds after coming through their ranks in 2004, may have been ready for heavy booing throughout the 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium.
But in the end it was two other Palace players who got heckled slightly more following their second half introductions after their previous spells with Swansea's fierce rivals.
“It started off with some boos but to be fair I didn’t get that much – I was surprised,” said Ledley.
“I think Fraizer Campbell and Wilfried Zaha got more than me. It doesn’t mean anything, I just went out there and tried to play my game.”

Either they've forgotten him (like most of us! 
) or they 'like' what he did to us! 
Either way, he is of no significance to Cardiff City Football Club anymore (although I appreciate some will disagree)

Only thing Joe would not want you to forget I would imagine is that currently plays hi's football in the Premier league,while CCFC don't

They like because he is Welsh
or the more logical reason is 50% of their fans didn't realise that Swansea played football when Joe was kicking a ball around for us

Very good player. Could do with him now that's for sure. Box to box, plenty of energy, physical, gets you a few goals and very adept at "buying" the odd free kick. Come back Joe.

Joe's a good guy. City through and through. Never understand why people have a go at him for giving his all and then taking his career further with another club.

Exactly. Half their fans wouldn't know he ever played for us. They probably don't care either.

They probably know he shafted us so let him off lightly.
