Some crackers in the seventies, Wales v Yugoslavia in 76 was a bit lively what with a copper getting speared with a corner flag and the ref attacked. Newcastle v forest in 73 was a bit mental, for years after the geordies would taunt their opposition with the chant "Remember Nottingham forest". Tottenham v Chelsea in 75 was nuts. There was loads in that era, almost a weekly event.

I don't recall any bad pitch invasions down City, but I do recall some bad stuff walking down Ninian Park Rd after the 1980 FA Cup tie v Arsenal,,,& then a couple of weeks later an FA Cup re match v Swansea City v Crystal Palace at NP!

Only around the grange end & bob bank if my now old memory is correct and they were fences in name only and very easy to climb over.
