No Outstanding Team

Sat Nov 29, 2014 6:02 pm

The Championship is always competitive. This year is no exception. But it lacks CLASS.
Derby looked like the best team but then lost to Leeds today.
Earlier Notts Forest looked a class above, but have been struggling in the last few weeks.
Wolves dropping like the proverbial stone!
At present Brentford (yes BRENTFORD) are showing the best form, with Ipswich showingsolid form.
We are playing pretty poor football but getting decent results.
No team is outstanding and you can perm any 2 for auto promotion out of about 15 teams.
All to play for....

We have the best squad in that league. We have a manager who is trying to pull the players together as one.
We just need to offload a load of players so Slade can concentrate on a much smaller squad.

And yesterday they looked together! Brilliant to see! Been saying all year, poor championship.

On what basis do we have the best squad? It's full of players we are looking to offload because they haven't cut it. We are short of quality in central midfield and we don't have a striker that looks as though they will get anywhere near 20 goals. Our wingers have been more cold than hot this season and we concede too many goals.

So where's the evidence we have the best squad compared to say derby or boro?

There isn't evidence but there is evidence of an improving cardiff who are harder to beat. We must at all costs beat Rotherham.
