I have questioned slades selection (bench ) but points are showing. So big respect to him for that

When Slade was appointed, certain posters on here predicted the only place we were going was into Div 1. We may not set this league alight, but if you can't find three teams worse than us then I would say you know very little about football. Seven more wins from 27 games pretty much guarantees that we won't go down, and whatever you think of Slade, I would put money on him getting enough out of his players to get another 20 or so points without too much trouble.

Ha I've had years of people saying I'm overall optimistic. I wouldn't say I'm negative, just don't like Slade but then I don't need to like him to support the team or respect his results. He is however doing a solid job so far, I just think he could help himself further by using all the squad.
Without a doubt he has made progress from Ole. But in my opinion he isn't the man to take us forward.

I thought people complained about Ole because he was using all the squad. Everyone wanted a settled team, and recent results suggest that they were right. Surely, if we start chopping and changing again, we will get the same results as when Ole was here.

I don't think we need to chop and change all the time but you use what you have available.

Short term results are going well, but I think we will loose a lot of very good talent in the summer and it will be a mistake not using them while we have them.

There really is no debate while we are averaging two points a game, I like you don't want to lose talent and want more creativity but we are moving in the right direction.

You had not posted on here for around 2 months until yesterday. I have not seen a post from you defending Slade when we got stuffed 3-0 at Bolton or seen any post defending his tactics when the performances were awful. Yes I would say you have been waiting to stick the boot in.

Opinions on this board range from A to Z. There is no party line as some say. If there was then the A to Z would not be on here. We have had a problem with those who disrespect opinions who end up throwing their teddies out of their prams. Thankfully most of the have left. One or two are still about and it I had my way they would be out.
