when was the last time?
Fri Nov 28, 2014 8:45 pm
As the continued doom and gloom of being a bluebird rolls and rolls, I was thinking today on a long journey home from work, when was the last time Cardiff city were mentioned in a remotely positive way? I have spent hours on the road today and I honestly can't remember anybody saying anything positive about the club. Every time we are mentioned its negative.
And sorry to say,as a life long fan, unfortunately its true. I don't think anything positive has come from our club since august- September of last year? And even then it was only fleeting due to the odd good result papering over cracks.
Manager sackings, pissed off players, fans deserting in their 1000's, unparalleled debt, a maniacal owner ranting inane shite every time he says anything etc etc.
I have never been embarrassed to be a Cardiff fan until recently. Losing the non league teams in the cup, Small crowds, relegations, all stuff we put up with, but now is far far worse for me. Some on here say its just a relegation hangover - its not, I've been through enough relegations with this club but we just carried on with it. We were still united. It was what we did.... But now? We are in more of a mess than we have ever been in my opinion
Any thoughts from long standing fans that have been through previous relgations?

To answer the question, Man City home game last season. Cardiff City FC were being raved about by pundits and reporters all over the world!
Personally, I think deep down we're all a little miffed that what we have been dreaming about for decades ( Promotion back to the top flight ) wasn't anything like what we'd dreamed about.
I hated the Premier league and all it brought with it.
The Rebrand to get there
The Malky Mis-spending
The Liverpool/Bluebird fans that turned up
Feeling alien in my own home ground (more about staff attitudes than Colour)
The bias opinion on Match of the Day
The constant ridicule of Vincent Tan (yes he's a tw*t, But I think the media made it worse)
Thinking as a club, that we've blown our best shot
Blaming each other and inter fan squabbling
Ah well, at least we still have a club (for now!!!)
