Wed Nov 26, 2014 8:15 am

Britt assombalonga and nadki well ls both were bought from league one and one scoring double our players. Seen a thread on here hoping slade dont look at league 1 but i think it would be a better option as they are more hungry for the fight

League 1 strikers and from lower leagues are proven to be able to do it in the championship and even premiership.
I would go for eoin doyle banging them in and top scorer in league 1

thats a bit better than the OP at least.

no point in saying league one strikers are better than what we have unless you can name some.

so did le fondre and maynard at one point, and mason from league 2, even kenwyn played in league 1. i fail to see your point. Assombalonga, Wilson and wells are not league 1 strikers, they are championship strikers. if you are going to say something like 'league 1 better than our strikers' then back it up with same names of CURRENT strikers at that level who can do a job :ayatollah:

Ok then eoin doyle would be a great addition to our squad scoring 19 goals in 20 games this season

so you make a sweeping statment about "league 1 better than our strikers" and basically copy the guy above who mentioned Doyle. :sleepy2:

just take the top 5 names of the goalscoring chart in league 1.... they must all be better than what we have right?

Have you actually seen him play? what makes him better than what we have here?
Le Fondre's record in the lower leagues with Rochdale and Rotherham was brilliant, what makes this guy better?
He didnt score too many in a promotion winning season last year, is this just a hot patch of form?

The strikers you've listed are no better than ours. It is just a good striker needs to have to team built for him.

We have too many and no gameplan to use their best attributes.

We should have bought Le Fondre and played him with Kenwyne from the get go, focusing everything in training on those two guys.
