Will you renew your season ticket? ' Poll '

I've seen a lot of posts on Facebook and Twitter today of people saying they won't renew their season tickets, due to everything going on at the club.

So my question is, as things stand right now, will you be renewing?

For me it's a yes. I could never turn my back on Cardiff City. Not even one man will ruin that for me.

Never turn my back on the club I have and my father before supported all our lives.

Some People need to look up the definition of a True Supporter.

I most probably will, but I do ask myself the question do I enjoy it anymore ? Is it now a chore ? Does it deserve to have my well earned cash, when to be honest times are hard ?

We've been shit in the past for long periods so the quality of football doesn't bother me, it's just it feels broken and soul less to me. My passion for the club has slowly dwindled away, it's difficult to be proud of what the club is right now.

I am fed up with atmosphere in new stadium

I am fed up with hearing how well away fans are treated - how about looking after home fans who are the bread & butter
I am fed up with football in general and the greed created by Sky TV rights and players wage demands
I am fed up with hearing about Tan - he is a businessman who saw an opportunity and is something (and someone) almost every fan wanted to plough millions into club
I am fed up with 19.27 half hearted protest
I am fed up with the walk up those stairs in the new stand
I am fed up with the high prices being charged for shite ale and poor quality fans experience
I am fed up with stewards and the general attitude towards fans
I am fed up of being a Cardiff City fan after 47 years in general

I wont be going if im given a FREE seaston ticket next season, the way the club is rite now well its not the club i knew not even 1% sadly. some people are clinging on to the only thing left CARDIFF CITY FC by name then say they hate the rebrand and what the clubs become along with the dislike of VT yet moan 24/7 need to stand up and call it a day untill hes gone otherwise pipe down and take it arse deep. When everyone knows its only 1000s more empty seats that will make the man realise

Agree with this totally. With the ground extention I know I can pick and choose matches, which would be the first time I have ever done this , but really have no passion at all for City.
Somebody put on here a couple of weeks ago a Cardiff and Swansea Welsh cup derby on 1992 . I couldn't believe the passion compared to now. I don't think it's just City , it seems to be a growing trend in football .

I think a lot of fans forget this was happening before the rebrand.... The stadium debate has always been on here since i was just looking.

Season tickets sales are a sign of commitment. I may miss 4/5 games a year due to work or holidays so I give them to a friend. Unless the club give me a can't refuse deal for the first phase of purchase I will just go back to phoning the club and purchasing tickets when it suits me. I will probably break even on the financial element of the deal.

I never had a season ticket for NP, it took me ages to get the idea of buying tickets weeks before a game. The game has moved on and not always for the better, especially for the fans, sorry consumers

I don't want promotion because we need this battle, does vinnie know what 12K looks like. He needs to treat us a business and understand the" customer" is always right.

Hate Red and Hate Tan. I've had a season ticket for around 30 years but if we are still in the temporary red crap then that's it for me - until we get a real football man at the helm and Tan takes his evil dirty money with him. I would rather go into the conference and start again IN BLUE

100% no, I have more important things to spend my money on now and it simply isnt as enjoyable anymore. I will still take in some games.

Of the 3 of us that go, im 100% not renewing, another pretty certain they aint and I doubt the other person will go on his own.

I haven't turned my back on the club personally but you have no right to judge people being 'true supporters'.
You only have to read on this forum that there are plenty of true supporters who have been going for decades & who are completely dissolutioned. Doesn't make them any less a true supporter than you.

One thing is for certain, this is not the Cardiff City that any long going true supporters know, recognise & love.

I haven't had a ST for 4 seasons due to work and home location. My reason is simple economics. I'm sure others have to prioritise finances at times. That is the reality.

I am no less a fan than a full ST holder, especially some who can afford to buy a ticket but not turn up half the time.

Some judgemental comments leave me cold here.

People have always stopped going down the City, for any number of reasons. First I remember was selling Toshack.

As for season tickets, most of the time there was no need. Until the last year or two, Ninian Park was rarely full. That only changed fairly recently. Seem to recall the Riddler saying that a high number of STs sold was attractive to potential buyers.

Personally, I will renew my ST. I'm lucky that I can afford it, and it's less hassle than buying tickets on a match by match basis. I still enjoy going to Cardiff City games. In truth, though, we're back to the days when you can pay on the day, and get into any part of the ground.

If people don't want to go any more, or just go to some games, well that's fine. Just do that. Difference between now and BITD is that some people love to come on here and seem to expect sympathy for not going. If you don't enjoy it anymore, then just don't go. Generations have always done that. Younger fans always come along, who just enjoy going to football matches.

Undecided but I think I am over 50% not going to renew.

Reasons being I am in my last year of my college course and applying for UNI if that fails will be looking at getting a job even though it will be very very tough but I will be looking to go to games but pick and choose, may get an away membership.

One thing that has annoyed me over the this season and last season is the constant s**t our supporters come out with on social media and on here.. also at games. Embarrassed to support this club on times the way the supporters speak about the club/team.

I feel like I am getting into the Football a bit more since Slade has took charge though which is positive.

Planning to go away to uni but if I was staying in Cardiff I would 100% renew

I wonder how many of the hate red, hate Tan "fans" were there when there were crowds of 1k or less

Getting a bit tired of the constant moaning -FFS grow a pair - the club was here before Tan and will be here after he's long gone

On a personal note this is the best time I've experienced supporting the club - but that is a personal thing as I go to the games with my 3 boys now which is something I will always look back on with fond memories

A season ticket will be purchased as soon as it comes on sale no matter if it's Premier League or League 1

I decided when I bought this season's that it would be my last unless we are back in blue.

I am older now but always has such a strong passion for city. It might be that I am more restrained since taking my young lad but last Fri game had me wondering why are need to bother anymore.

Will we ever get back the passion we once had as a fan Base. Seems unlikely.

47 years for me, and I feel exactly the same. No enjoyment any more.

If we get promised back to Blue. Other than that it will be 100% NO

For me it's not about a Yes or No but it's about the cost. If it says the same or goes up, then defo NO as I will have to pick my games.

However, if the powers to be at the club look seriously at polls etc. and reduce the prices then I will probably renew.

25 years of my life I have been going down there and now I have more important things to spend my money on that lining the pockets of the egotistical maniac running our club!

Depending on the accuracy of this poll (all polls can be inaccurate) but it could mean that only about 5/6,000 season tickets may be sold next year. Giving crowds of only 10 - 12,000.
What will Tan do about that?
He says the fans have done their worst - well he could be in for a shock.
