Attendance vs Actual

I spent twenty odd years listening to city fans laugh at ninian park when the crowd was announced! "Much more than that here" was the usual quote. Yet in recent times and with the negativity fuelling through every bluebirds veigns it's now the total opposite with regards the crowd. I ask this, does it really matter? Does it bother you that much? Surely bringing a positive support and attitude rather than worrying about attendance figures would be more beneficial, to much negativity if you ask me. Were one of the best supported clubs in this division and that's been built off only small success in recent years, not years of success at the top level like a lot of teams in the championship, who have less support than us or similar.

I agree if they say there's 20k+ there then so be it.

The problem is though the club needs to understand people's reasons for staying away ie rebrand, ticket prices but we know that won't happen and next year I think it will finally hit home due to end of price freeze the drop in attendance will be huge in my opinion.

If they have any sense at all they will keep the price freeze going, or see a large drop, it would be good PR for one too....

so you agree...but admit there is a problem.....surely attendance is the amount of bums on seats....so why not just tell the truth...?

It's obvious the attendances given aren't the actual crowd, doesn't bother me the thing is next year they won't be able to say there's 20k there so need to sort something out that's what I'm saying.
