No Ravel Yesterday

Sat Nov 22, 2014 1:12 pm

Am I the only one that found it strange yesterday that ravel didn't come on off the bench? I noticed that he wasn't even warming up at all after half time either?
I can't see him being here after January and can't blame him if he is not happy with things like guerra not been given a real chance. Yesterday's game was crying out for someone like ravel to really take the game by the throat and take the game to reading and put a few more goals past them. I would have brought him on for le fondre he would have dictated the game and would have been a better all around performance imo.
Good 3 points and good defensively and organised team but we need more going forward in attack if we are to get better and be a match for the better sides in this division and ravel in for alf is the answer imo

I don't think the likes of Ravel are Slades type of players.

Slade has to go with what he has but you get the impression the quality players like Guerra, Ravel and Daehli will struggle under him to get selected.

You can include Fabio in that.

I think we all know what to expect come January and I think it will keep us up this season.

I know that is what is frustrating.. I actually think slade is a good manager but at the moment I see us failing against the better sides in this league because he can't seem to fit in the quality and talent into his sides. We lack a spark and someone who can make things happen

We don't know what's going on with ravel! He's been same with every club so not sure we can point finger at slade! We did win the football match! Talent he has but so did leonine jean

Don't agree with your post. He was a regular in the QPR team that got promoted so couldn't have been that bad as long as he does the business on the football pitch that's all that matters

Yes fair point but thats one game, doesn't take away his quality the fact he didn't want to play another position. Not good that he got that attitude but we are talking here and now and now he is a cut above the player in his position the moment le fondre

I would like to see him playing just behind Le Fondre

He did get game time with qpr but Harry also come out and said some few choice words. I agree as long as he is doing it on the pitch, I just worry his head isn't right and if it's not then he won't do it on the pitch. We don't really know, just second guessing

Without quality like Ravel, Daeli and Fabio, Guerrra, Kenwyne Jones we WILL BE FOUND OUT. Slade is 3 division manager and it's what we need for now BUT he needs a tactition like Terrry Burton with him. EGO will not allow it. Sad.
