We have gone cheap, the manager, back room staff all to cut costs. All this talk about cutting the squad by Slade, it's just what Tan wants to hear IMO. 38 is ridiculous in fairness but he mentions it in every interview

I'd rather give the ball away by hitting a long pass and 'potentially (not always, especially if Jones plays)' losing it in their half - we could also win the knock down, that give it away in a dangerous area trying to overplay (as Morrison has done a few times already). I've also got more confidence in Turner dealing with the ball when it comes back in to our half than any other player at our club.

If we had a tougher midfield (which could boss a game ) then I agree I would have Turner as the defender with Manga instead , as we then would nullify more attacks from opposition through the midfield.

Couldn't agree more. The Watford right winger will be unmarked and have a field day. Fabio is O.K at home but we need a solid defensive left back in away games. Trouble is, amongst 40 odd players we still haven't got one. Thanks, Ole.

I just think Whitts and Matts are so efficient with the ball they hardly give it away, we could do something. matts in the centre would scare the living daylights out of defenders and they will take him down, 20 yards from goal, up step Mr Whittingham- We all know what happens next
