What exactly happened last night.
I text my brother to see how we played and he said ok, he is forever the optimist so from that I get terrible.

Fabio now the latest player with any flair to be removed from the team despite being one of the stand out consistent players this season. Replaced with connolly who for me is never and will never be a fullback.
What next? Brayford to attacking replace him with another CB?

When I seen the team sheet I didn't expect a lot, it was surprise to see we had scored through an own goal and a penalty. But the work still has to go in to create those chance.

I checked the score at half time and seen 2-0 And a player up and fully expected us to put a few past them. What happened?
To finish the game 2-1 is pretty poor.

The most concerning stat is we are at home, with an extra player for 45mins and still has less possession.

To be fair we won, if we keep winning then Slade is doing his job well.

When Solskjaer was here we were begging for stability and bit of mental strength and fight from our players.

Slade has improved us dramatically in that sense, but at the expense of a bit of flair. if we continue to build and improve I expect him to gradually bring some of the flair players in and performances to improve.

In fairness all that really matters at the moment is results and 13 points form 7 games since Slade arrived is promotion form.
