The articles on Whelan quote him as saying:
Tan continued: "The fact is he (Whelan) is a leader of a big football club, he's sending the wrong message to the followers and supporters in the club.
"Do you think that is proper? So I am asking whether he is fit and proper to be chairman of a football club in the UK for what he has said.
Well hasn't he ripped our culture and heritage apart to instore his own - to me he's no respect, no honour and applying indirect discrimination.
Tan is as low as any racist, how he applies his appalling attack on a culture is just hidden amongst a football club!

Tan is the biggest racist of all. He completely destroyed the culture of the club for a stupid personal whim, (to show who is boss and to please his chinese/Malaysian people).
He only appoints chinese/Malaysian people to run the club despite their complete lack of experience. knowledge and intelligence to do so. They are only appointed because of their nationality or race, so what is more racist than that?

Dave Whelan is one of the best club owners going. Has ploughed a fortune into Wigan and is one of the good guys alongside the likes of Bobby Robson etc. Tan shut the f**k up! He will be chasing Slade for something when he sacks him like the rest. He will go out of his way to f**k this club one day aswell.

This isn't my quote, it comes from The Independent comments, I think it sums up Tan. He has just gone and insulted the people of Wigan!

Absolutely spot on pal. Am I right in thinking that treating people a certain way and neglecting their culture, faith, colour is rasicm? If so Tan is the biggest racist ever to set foot inside a football stadium.
A serious question here - based on that logic and meaning of racism, could we as supporters make a complaint to the FA about tans show of rasicm towards us? Play the tw*t at his own game?
