FREYA BEVAN

Wed Nov 19, 2014 9:03 am

Freya Bevan is a gorgeous 2 year old girl from Neath, who unfortunately was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year. She has had 2 major operations to remove the tumour and has had a lot of chemotherapy. This has not gone as well as hoped and the next step is possibly going abroad for expensive treatment which is not available in the UK.
The reason I am posting this on here is that her dad is a Cardiff City supporter who , until a couple of seasons back had a season ticket with us in the Canton stand.
There are numerous fund raising events going on in the area, including a large number of us Neath Blues going in the sea on boxing day. If any of you are interested in donating for a fellow City fan in need ,this is the link to the facebook page https://t.co/C0gBnJqi3O where there is a link to a paypal account.https://t.co/hmsGwR999W
If you are not in the position to donate could I just ask you to search for Freya Bevan fund on twitter and retweet a link and use #freyasfund as they are trying to get it trending far and wide. Many thanks. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Freya has been receiving Chemotherapy at the Children's Cancer Ward at the Heath since May and has recently had two major operations to try and remove the tumor. During the last operation which took almost 14 hours, they found the main artery had become wrapped around the tumor and the NHS won't do anymore surgery. she is still having chemotherapy at the Heath and lives there during these times
It is possible that this treatment can be done in San Fransisco but as you can imagine this treatment comes with substantial costs.
