Where is the outcry?

Tue Nov 18, 2014 9:41 am

Four people were killed and six others wounded during prayers at a Jerusalem synagogue this morning, in one of the city’s worst attacks in years.

The two assailants, armed with axes, knifes and a gun stormed the Jewish seminary, laying into the worshippers. Both the men, believed to be Palestinians from east Jerusalem, were killed in a shootout with the police.

------------------------------

It is fact that a Muslim death is seen as a bigger tragedy than a Christian or Jewish death. Christians were left to be slaughtered by the hundred in Syria and look what happened there.

Israel will come down hard on Hamas after this. And so they should. No other country would have to put up with this. They are hated from every angle you look in the Middle East and it isn't down to territorial lines, that is a lie.

Was it actually Hamas or are you just assuming?

Re: Where is the outcry?

I'm starting to think we should just let the Jews bomb all the Arab countries around them

Re: Where is the outcry?

Palestinians have identified the attackers as Uday and Ghassan Abu Jamal. In the Gaza Strip, some people distributed sweets to celebrate the attack.

Hamas said it was in revenge for the death of a Palestinian bus driver found hanged inside a vehicle in Jerusalem on Monday.

Israeli police said it was a case of suicide, but his family did not accept the post-mortem findings.

-----------------------------------------

I tend to assume it is Hamas in these situations as it always is them and they openly accept responsibility for it.

Thing is Hamas is now joined with the actual leading party in Palestine Fatah. So saying Hamas is a stand alone terrorist organisation can't be said. Hamas is Palenstine and Palenstine is Hamas.

The BBC website says that it was the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, PFLP. They are one of the older Palestinian groups, going back to the 1960s. I think that they are far left, and secular. Hamas are reported as praising them, though.

Israel will surely respond with great force.

Personally I believe NO one deserves to die either side.

4 people killed, yet that does not compare to the 1,000's and I mean 1,000's of Palestinians killed.

Just put on Sky News and it was on at 3.01pm so it is National News as usual if an Israeli is killed.
Also the President of the Palestinian Authority has condemned it, No innocent person should be killed and I agree.

But it it will never be resolved until Israel give the Palestinians their country back.

There s allways an outcry when a jew is killed but it pails into insignificance when you look at how many Palestinians
have been killed lately some died in their own homes when Israeli tanks demolished them its all a bit one sided ,
Israel is the big bully on the block in Palestine and they have America backing them . :old:

In war innocents will die, that is sad fact but it is fact. A lot of the dead will be militants. Still, it is tragic.

There are only a few countries looking for peace in the Middle East and Israel are one of them in my opinion.

If Palestine had the fire power of the Israelis you could only imagine what would happen. Israel have shown a lot of restraint seeing as Hamas actively fire directly at schools, playgrounds and hospital, only to be stopped by the defence system.

"Big Bully" I've said it before but 200 thousand people have died in the Syrian conflict. The reason Israel Palestine has caused such outrage is because it the Jews are seen as the "Big Bully". If we truly cared about human suffering we would have killed Assad and wiped the floor with him as he was poisoning thousands of his own citizens.

Israel can defend its own borders, as we should if for instance France decided to bomb us out of no where. Or maybe how we defended the Falklands. A lot of innocent men, women and children died but as above, if Hamas had their way there would be tens of thousands dead and the beheadings by the truck load.

I can't say your opinion is wrong either though as there is so much hot spoken about the conflict it makes it difficult to make sense of it.

Once I read in your start of your post Israel are looking for peace, from then on I knew we would have totally different opinions. They are the cause of most of the Massacres and are the ones occupying someone else's country, for me and the Palestinians thats where the problem lies and it will never stop until they leave.

I must admit I knew very little about the situation, only what we see on TV and fanatics on both sides.

I used to feel as you do Annis but after talking and listening to Israelis on how they feel in their own country (forgetting the rights and wrongs of the forming of Israel) and watching Palestinians jumping for joy and burning flags when 9/11 happened.

I find I am of a different opinion now.

It must be lovely living in a country where all your neighbors on every side hate you with a passion and swear to wipe you off the face of the earth?

But, yes, I believe there are good and bad everywhere in the world and in all walks of life.

Now you need to spk to Palestinians that have lived there or live there.
They dont have to be there, no one is forcing them,it cant be that bad as more and more are moving in to Palestinian areas, Palestine gets smaller every year Israel, gets bigger, sadly a fact. they should allow Palestine to be recognised.

Surrounded on all sides. Hated by everyone.
Targets for attack around the world.
Easy to attack Israel and Jews because they won't come round your gaff and cut your head off.
There are possibly more Muslims in uk than there are Jews in the world.
Surely you can agree to share a bit of desert?

Those murdering Muslim bastardise will go in a church, graveyard, temple or shire and kill or destroy.
They hide in schools and set off rockets. They kidnap, rape and force religion.
How can you condone that eh???

All religion should be banned. It just ends up in brainwashing, power, murder and bigotry.
(A bit like FIFA!)

Lets not forget the history of this region. It's been a hotbed since the crusades, and let us not forget which country was one of the main instigators of Israel as a country.

If we are not careful, the UK will end up the same, but just not as hot :o
