Play to our potential and the 3pts are their for the taking

Tue Nov 18, 2014 8:34 am

Reading have struggled this season with 8 defeats so far. They are no where near the team that has challenged over the years for promotion and won promotion. They are 14th in the Championship,2 positions below us, in my opinion they are there for the taking. If city play to their potential and with 3 home wins on the trot behind us, its a clear City win for me :thumbright: :bluescarf:

I admire your optimism, Annis, but I think our potential is overstated. We have not played all that well even at home and are due another home defeat. I'd go for a draw but only on the basis that we can get away with a non defensive left back (Fabio) in home matches. Not so sure if we can continue to win at CCS with a lazy, useless striker though. And I don't mean ALF.

Cheers, but I would be honestly shocked if we could not beat Reading at home. If we cant then, I will worry big time.

City will beat Reading, I am convinced of that.

I think our home form under Slade and Reading's indifferent league form will mean 3 points will be ours :bluescarf:

Disagree, we were to good for albeit a Forest side in decline, to strong for a decent Ipswich and the Leeds game was a mirror of the Ipswich game. Macheda has his critics but will get us goals and will score again on Friday. I do agree that we can't continue winning every single home, but I don't think Friday will be when they form changes
