Jefferson Montero is one of the star men of the premier League this season with Swansea.

Cardiff's Malky Malky tried to sign Jefferson Montero. Mackay sent a middle man to Mexico to get Montero for the Welsh club's first Premier campaign. But there was a confusion over the fee.Cardiff eventually went down.

worth every penny regardless where the money goes, the Jacks can sell him at a big profit if he regularly puts in performances like the one against Arsenal.

My wife is Ecuadorean, I have known of him through my football mad in-laws, and seen him play for the National team many occasions. Edit: (well twice)

I would say there are lots of good Ecuadorean players that can be picked up on the cheap. Can be quite raw but what they have is blistering pace and the Ecuadorean league is worth scouting

Montero is a class act ! But i know that because i go to the games and not watch replays on MOTD .
