' OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER BACK IN WORK '
Thursday 13th November 2014
Ex-Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in work with Norwegian side Clausenengen FK
Solskjaer is training teenagers in his home town of Kristiansund as he waits for his next major move after leaving the Bluebirds
Former Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is back in football...coaching kids in Norway.
The ex-Manchester United striker has been out of work since leaving the Bluebirds in September following a poor start to the club’s Championship campaign.
But as he waits for his next major move – with discussions over Cardiff exit compensation reportedly still ongoing – Solskjaer has gone back to his old club to train teenagers.
Solskjaer started his prolific senior career Clausenengen FK and helped out coaching youngsters when manager of Molde.
Now, back in his home town of Kristiansund, Solskjaer has gone from the heights of the Premier League to polishing the talents of Norwegian kids.
The general manager of CFK confirmed Solskjaer has already overseen sessions alongside former Bluebirds No.2 Mark Dempsey, and said: “When the family moved back it fitted that he took over the club’s boys teams. You don’t say no to such things.”
But there are no plans for Solskjaer to head back to senior football at the club, with Pedersen adding: “We focus on player development, and we spend more resources on it than on the senior team. I don’t know how long he will be with us – hopefully as long as possible, but we assume he will get a job at a higher level in the future.”
Solskjaer’s nine-month spell at Cardiff came to an end in mid-September.

Yes, I understood that was what you meant, but I don´t get how the fact that he´s helping his childhood club says anything at all about what´s his level of managing. You think this is the best he can get?

Oh, come on, give the guy some credit. After all, he has the titles in his belt. I´m sure he at least would be considered for a position as an assistant manager for Clausenengens first team!

He will only do well managing in very poor leagues or as a reserve manager because that's his level in my opinion good luck to him i like him as a bloke he wouldn't want to manage Clausenegens they are like in the bottom division in Norway i think he will go to that Swedish team he was linked to the other day.

it says he is doing it while he awaits his next job, he is obviously gonna be ok at least on the scandinavian scene, he won a lot of titles there. don't see why you have to knock him for doing a job with the kids, probably isn't getting paid a lot just doing it cause he loves football.
nice genuine bloke ogs, he loves his football and tried his best, it just didn't work out.

He is probably awaiting a pay off
