Russell Slade and Lennie Lawrence

Does anyone think they are very similar managers they were both former teachers and they rather have hard workers than flair players and it worked for Lennie so it should work with Slade as well.

And also what about having Lawrence as Slade's assistant.

I've seen worse names mentioned as a director of football though.

I don't think the problem is Slade , I think the problem is his background staff , Slade is inexperienced at this level he needed someone as his no2 who has experience at this level or above to help him (someone like Rene Meulensteen) not someone who has no experience in management in the football league as an assistant!
