Thu Nov 13, 2014 12:18 pm

' Juan Cala,Guerra,Kadeem Harris,Declan John, Bergstaller & Matt Daehli '

Also Ravel Morrison should he start?

Do you feel any of these players should start v Reading as a Fans point of view?

The 1st 5 no chance they will be gone in January as for Daehli I think he's too light weight for the championship week in week out but could be a good impact player in the the last 20 mins.

Starting no

Daehli and Gerra on the bench without a doubt.

Harris, John or Burgerstaller would have been a better option than the 3 CB's for the bench previously though. Cala a better option than Gabbidon as well.

All of them should be able to get closer to the first team and get to show what they can do. A lot of their competetors have not been playing well, and all logic say others should then get a chance. If nothing else from the bench. Whats being done is nothing less than criminal. Especially to young Declan and Mats.

Currently there is no flair in our team and If we are going to get into the top 6, then we need flair players like Morrison and Daehli who can produce that moment of magic. Also why hasn't Guerra been given a chance.

It seems there is so much politics going on within the club at the moment that both Daehli and Guerra in particular may not feature for us again. Tan needs to get a grip here because if he is having a say on whether these players play or not then its goodbye to a top 6 finish.

As for the rest I hope we keep Harris and John because they are the future of the club, but it looks like Cala and Bergstaller are definately on their way out as well as Eikrem

Le fondre out ravel in. Both noone and pilks need to feel like they have competition for their places as they have both been poor. So throw daehli on for one of them or at least let him have 30 min if they continue to play as poorly as they have in the last couple of games.
John defo needs to be on the bench instead of gabbidon, it's ridiculous that he isn't.Also like to see guerra on the bench instead of Maynard.

I don't think Jones will be back in time from Trinidad duty. I'd like to think Daehli would be on the bench, but if we play 442 I can't see any of the 6 above starting. Burgstaller may be a better option than Pilkington though.

:laughing6: It wound me up too, especially since one of them is closer to 40 than 30. Feel like Slade is picking players on reputation sometimes. The young ones and the foreign ones he doesnt know anything about ( unless they played in league 1 or the championship before like Ralls) and didn't have time to assess, so he hastily discards them.

Definitely Ravel Morrison. Maybe Guerra if only to keep the useless Macheda out. Ralls can join Cala & co towards the exit door.

Have I mentioned it before  I think I'm still in shock a professional manager, we'll any manager would do that and leave out so many other options.

agree, thats the team i'd play too. i think ravel could do real damage if we play with him receiving the ball as often as possible behind jones.

While I would like to see mats or Ravel start with the other on the bench, am always of the opinion you can't change a winning team which they have been at home!

Useless Macheda? As long as he sticks the ball in the net then I'm happy! Bit harsh on Ralls too. If Whittingham gets injured then Ralls will be the straight swap.

Ravel behind the striker with Mats on the bench as a joker, and i really hope that Guerra can get a decent chance to prove himself, at least as a substitute.

I also would like to se Declan John play again, but it is of course hard to compete with Fabio.

Mats could potentially replace Ravel, but also Noone or Pilks (yes, he CAN play on the wing).

So this is a 4-4-1-1, but i have no hope that this will happen, Slade will play 4-4-2 with Ravel on the bench and Mats and Guerra out of the squad. Unfortunately.

Annis it's not fair on them, most will be very un-match fit!

Get them in friendlies and on the bench and then give them a fighting chance.

Take away his massively deflected shot against Leeds and the one against Ipswich which he knew nothing about and what are you left with? just a terrible vastly overrated lazy player. Nothing against Ralls - I hope he does well. But somewhere else. If you see him as Whittingham's automatic replacement then we really are in trouble.

Are you Russell Slade? :laughing6: We should be grooming Daehli to take over Whitts role in the team eventually. Ralls is dependable but lacks creativity and special ability on the ball. Nice and tidy passer of the ball nothing more, nothing less. See him developing into a DCM , not creative enough for an ACM on a higher level.
