How really good is Ravel Morrison?

Championship?

High Quality Championship?

Premier League?

Or could he be right up there with the best Premier League Players?

Opinions? :thumbright:

Once all these court cases are over, I do believe you will see an even better player :thumbright:

Should playing be at a top 4 club, like sterling. But i am not sure he has the character or drive to do that well. Cant knock his ability but the best players have great work ethic and discipline. The jurys out..

Very talented but has limits & not sure the right attitude. Think he does just enough, never over exerts himself to push on. Knows he's got talent & just toddles along.

Was very good at QPR but when the games not going for him, you get very little out of him. A passenger at times.

Being dropped for the play off final kind of says it all. Harry obviously didn't trust him to carry out strict instructions.

Did I enjoy him at QPR? Yes

Would I want him back? No

Don't think he's a player you'll ever see the best of unfortunately.

I see him as a top championship player. Has the ability but not the ingredients for top level football.

Premier League. When he came on against Sheff Weds he was outstanding. everything he did was quality.

He cannot even get a start for Cardiff!

Says it all really about this club at the moment. Looks like Slade does not like quality flair players in his team who could unlock tight defences. Rather stick to his tried & tested favourites. I still hope that he gives everyone a chance rather than relying on what he has been told. We could do with the 'special players' who have the ability to create things out of nothing. :bluescarf:

Could be in a top 6 club. but never will, too many talented players want it more. i never expect him to reach any potential

Should be in the line up playing just behind Kenwyn Jones - I'd start Ravel over Daehli every time.

I agree with this, I dont think he has the fitness or engine to play wide but just behind the striker would be ideal.

He does seem to be carrying a few pounds mind. I doubt we will see much of him under SLade.

I agree with the carrying a few pounds. When did he last play a full 90 ? Not sure he has the mentality to be a top player.

True that and a real shame. He could be a top class player.

When does his loan spell finish? Does anybody know?

Re: ' RAVEL MORRISON '

top 4 PL ability, but hasn't shown the attitude to fulfil that. until that improves he'll be a championship player, or a fringe PL player, as he has been so far in his career.

you do have to wonder what goes through his head to be at CCFC coming off the bench when realistically, in terms of raw ability he is ahead of every player in this division.

he's had plenty of managers now, so its down to him if he wants to knuckle down. i don't think he will to be honest for some time.

Played today against The Jacks, so hopefully fit & raring to go against Reading.
Saw enough in his first appearance to convince me he oozes class, most of the City sides we have watched in the last decade have been vulnerable with a one goal lead, on his debut against Wednesday, we never ever looked liked losing with him controlling the game.
He makes the odd poor decision & obviously has some major issues, but he has real class!

He is going to play behind Turner.

Stan - Where did he fit in best at Qpr ? Out wide or central ? And if central was he able to do it as a midfield 2 ?
