Personally I'd rather Slade leave than Daelhi leave...

Tue Nov 11, 2014 9:21 pm

What's he done in his Career so far as a manager? He's had one good crop of players at Leyton orient and done a Dave Jones?
In a league below us?

Daelhi is the greatest prospect to play here since Aaron Ramsey

Lets not be pessimistic here...

But lets me real.
He thinks the team we have are good enough to get promoted, That in a nutshell says to me he is not good enough for cardiff city.

We have ability yes but these guys are not upto it and they will not win promotion without much change

Over rated for me, he will be 20 in a few months its not like he's 16/17. There are many that at 20 have had years playing top level football already. Bit like Kim, we gushed over him as the next big thing but he is just too lightweight an ineffective.decent championship players the pair of them.

Even the best managers take time. Give him till after Christmas and then make these ridiculous statements if he hasn't turned things around. I agree matts is quality but do we really want a club where the players are bigger than the manager?

One good crop of players at Leyton Orient? You do realise Slade made 30 free transfers at Leyton Orient to assemble a squad good enough to reach the League 1 playoff final don't you?

What is slade meant to say in an interview that my side is garbage and not good enough to get promoted lol

Don't talk so much nonsense

Daehli is decent but not the world beater this forum and most of ots members is making him out to be

He looked better in prem but then he had far more time on the ball to weave in and out

He has little time in the championship to do that and whilst he has potential still isn't strong enough IMO for this tough tackling battling division

I just think we lack that real quality in our team, someone who can cut through a defense like a knife time and time again, thread a pass take the ball forward create opportunity.

our strikers have glimpses of quality about them but the accuracy is poor and alot of the time the play is sloppy, it needs to be better.
Daelhi is a perfect example of what an attacking player should possess.
He would probably do a better job up front than Le Fondre on current form and he's not even a striker.
We should be greatful to own such a talent, he should be in the development set up of a European Giant

In the grand scheme of things Daelhi has done little for this club in the year odd he has been here.

Yes he is talented, one of our best. But he isnt effective in the championship and I'd rather he left now and we have squad togetherness, than keep people on that arent going to play.

Flog everyone that isnt going to play. I'd rather go up than keep daelhi.

Thats a ridiculous idea. You can't flog everyone that isn't gonna play. Players get injured, some loose form, you need options thats why its important to keep more than 11 men happy and optimistic about their chances.

Don't agree, can't have players dictating(if story true ). Matts is good, but still a lot to learn, I just think he doesn't want to stay, once Ole left that probably made his mind up. Can't have players that don't put the team/club first.

Exactly, his future was decided when Solskjaer was sacked in my eyes. I'm sure somewhere at some point he will deliver. This is a lad that Man Utd didn't keep on though and they usually have a good reason. How many Man Utd youth rejects have actually gone on to do something noteworthy?

He undoubtedly has natural ability but lacks the desire and strength to succeed in this country if you ask me. Not developed as many would have hoped. I'm sure he'll tear Norway up if he goes back there mind. Could even do a job in Spain or France perhaps.

Mate, Hes not a Man U reject. Macheda and Eikrem are Man U rejects.
Man U wanted to keep him he went with OGS to Molds then Man U tried to get him back when he came here. They triggered their buy back clause but he didn't think he would get games at Man U hence he came here because of OGS promising him a look in no doubt.
Now former Man U rejects if you want to call them that :laughing6:, that is to say players that didn't want to stay on for years and years playing DVP games include Paul Pogba, Gerard Pique and Giuseppe Rossi amongst a few. There are many players that stay in these big clubs too long and find themselves at 22 with mostly DVP games to their name and countless loan spells that doesnt do nothing for them.
Doubt he would want to go back to Norway, he's lived in the UK since his early teens and he has interest from PL and Bundesliga clubs, and he doesnt strike me as a player who would want to play in some crap league, some people in here have forgotten how good he looked against top PL defences last season. Strange that.

its the sort of post you expect after a draw and a loss in succession.

i'm not quite convinced by daehli, i concede he's shown promise, but fans demand instant results, and therefore its completely understandable that slade has gravitated towards proven performers like pilkington and noone ahead of daehli.

What?? You claim that the tempo in the CS is greater that in PL? Because the players in the CS are better? More pacey? Better ball control? Better trained? What utterly nonsense.
