Could someone explain the differenece between CCSC & CCST?

Why do we have a club and a trust?

Are they rival factions regarding the rebrand (one for and one against)?

The CCSC is more of running away games more than anything along with Wales away games.

The CCST is a just a group with a few members who discuss matters regarding the club.

Cardiff city supporters club

CCSC has been serving supporters of Cardiff City for many years. As well as organising transport to every first team away fixture, we also arrange several events each season, such as the Children's Christmas Party and the Annual Player of the Year Presentation Evening. Additionally, we donate money to the football club each year in the form of kit sponsorship and purchase of equipment.
It liaises with the club on fan issues especially ticket prices and the way fans are treated

At the end of each season a committee of 12 people are elected at our AGM to run CCSC for the following year. The Supporters Club is of course only as strong as it's membership and we are always grateful of any assistance offered by our members, however big or small. Last season over 2,800 people joined the Supporters Club and we hope to encourage even more fans to sign up over the coming year.

What is the Cardiff City Supporters Trust?

The Trust is a democratic, not-for-profit group of Cardiff City supporters, committed to giving City fans a voice in the decision-making process of the Club, and to strengthening the links between Cardiff City and the community it serves. If you’re a Cardiff City fan, joining the Trust is a great way to express your commitment to the Bluebirds.

The Trust is run entirely by volunteers and is led by a board of directors, elected by their fellow members. Every adult member has an equal share in the Trust (and a share in Cardiff City through the Trust’s shareholding in the Club), they all have a vote, and they all have a voice.

Although it’s a fans group, the Trust, as a legally constituted Society governed by law, is more than just another “supporters club.” It’s a campaigning organisation which seeks to represent the views of Cardiff City fans to the owners and executives at the Club.

Whilst always wanting to work with the Club, we are independent of it, giving us the right to criticise and question when necessary.

Owners, directors, shareholders, players and managers come and go but the Trust is a reminder to the Club that the main stakeholders in Cardiff City are the fans.

Isn't that Vincent Tan ? The man who doesn't listen to the fans ? Personally cant see the point while he is at the helm
