Wez, this season, Matt has hardly been given a chance or a proper run in the team.

Prsonally, I feel Matt, is a high quality Championship player, gives his all,still learning,young,honest and will succeed

Because he may be a bit light..........he may be a bit young.........but in some games he has put more effort and fight in than some of our more experienced pro's.........we do like a tryer you know. Add to that he can actually play a bit of football and you get the idea.

He may well be lightweight but the difference is he can actually unlock hard defences to break down. He has the skill and trickery to do that and unfortunately we are not blessed with many players with those attributes.

Saying that, there seems a reluctance for Slade to pick skilful players (e'.g ravel Morrison, Guerra)so there would be little surprise if Daehli was to be sold. Kimbo is a similar player and he has not had a look in either.

He should at least be on the bench to allow him the opportunity to prove himself.

He hasn't proved himself this season but that kid has magic in his boots! He has looked lightweight but quality always shines through in the end!

Most believe just behind the striker, he can play centre with support and while I don't think hrs set the world alight out wide I do think he can play in this position as he does for Norway, but we need to be pressing and higher up the pitch like we do at home.

The fact is he's been Shit this year and doesn't fit in as you stated and if it's true he has an on going injury problem with his hips then slade is right not to play him

we have 2 strikers so not sure if that suits city's 442 as we dont have the players to allow him that roll because whitts is better further upfield!! unless of course we drop whitts??

He's got loads and loads of ability and potential, I could go on and on, only problem is at his age he's going to be inconsistent on times, this league is a brand new experience for him and it's obviously going to take some getting use to. Some people have short memories, this kid caused problems for defenders in the Premier League and has done it on the international stage, give him a shot and have a bit of patience and he could rip this league to bits. I'm not sure if 4-4-2 quite suits him and I'm not suggesting to change the whole ethos just to fit Mats in but we need to get the best out of the likes of Mats and Morrison because in my opinion they are top talents.

He's definitely lightweight but so is someone like Jonny Williams, if used properly they can be more than effective, look at the problems he caused us. If Daehli could drop in between the lines and get on the ball I have every confidence he'd rip it up. Thing is as Slade has said previously Morrison also plays in that sort of position and to be fair he's looked different class when he's got going.
