Yes, we took him out onto the streets of Cardiff. Here he is, on his favourite coloured carpet which was rolled out especially.
Quite a few people took pictures. A few people dropped in coins (some leaving literally a penny, the tight barstewards!).
And then later, quite unceremoniously, he was thrown onto the bonfire at Rhiwbina Fireworks Display.
