Conference sides Chester and Dover upset League Two opposition to earn a place in the FA Cup second round.

Craig Mahon's strike gave Chester a 2-1 victory at Southend, while Stefan Payne scored as Dover beat Morecambe 1-0.

Elsewhere, Byron Harrison's hat-trick helped League Two side Cheltenham win 5-0 against a 10-man Swindon side who are third in League One.

Cambridge United, of League Two, also caused an upset by beating League One opponents Fleetwood Town 1-0.

Kwesi Appiah scored after Fleetwood striker Jamie Proctor had been sent off for raising his arms in a goalmouth melee.

Eastleigh, meanwhile, reached the second round for the first time, beating Conference rivals Lincoln City 2-1 thanks to a late goal from Ben Strevens.

Richard Hill's side go into Monday's draw, which will be live on BBC Two and BBC Radio 5 live at 19:00 GMT, with live text commentary on the BBC Sport website.

They will be joined by Steve Burr's Chester, who were playing in the first round for the first time since the club reformed in 2010, and who went ahead with a fifth-minute header from full-back Ben Heneghan, with Barry Corr equalising from the penalty spot before a driven winner from Mahon, who became a father to twins on Friday.

But there was late disappointment for Conference South side Hemel Hempstead Town, who led early on at Bury - 61 places higher on the league ladder - and were minutes from a replay until Nathan Cameron and Daniel Nardiello sealed a 3-1 win for the League Two side.

East Thurrock United, of the Ryman Premier, were also eliminated, losing 2-0 at Hartlepool who are bottom of League Two.

John Akinde gave Conference Premier leaders Barnet a third-minute advantage at home to Wycombe - but the visitors, top of League Two, ran out 3-1 winners against nine men, as the home side had Sam Togwell and Andy Yiadom sent off.

Sam Winnall struck his first senior hat-trick as League One Barnsley beat League Two promotion hopefuls Burton Albion 5-0, with Devante Cole - son of former Manchester United and England striker Andy - also scoring.

Tom Bradbrook scored the winner for Conference side Dartford - after elder brother and team-mate Elliot had also struck - in a 4-3 victory at Kent neighbours Bromley, of the Conference South.

It was the day's joint-highest scoring match, as MK Dons matched it with a 4-3 win at League One rivals Port Vale.

Sunday:

Worcester City beat Coventry City 2-1 to produce the biggest shock of Sunday's FA Cup first-round ties.

Sean Geddes' two goals helped the Conference North side through at the expense of the League One Sky Blues, Cup winners in 1987.

League Two Portsmouth, winners in 2008, left it late to draw 2-2 at home with Conference club Aldershot.

Northern Premier Blyth Spartans beat Conference Altrincham 4-1 to take their place in the next round.

Worcester took full advantage after Coventry goalkeeper Lee Burge was sent off in the first half for lashing out at visiting striker Daniel Nti.

Geddes scored the resulting penalty and added a second goal 10 minutes into the second half.

Coventry's Reda Johnson missed a penalty before the break and, though he scored late on, Worcester held on.

"We were the better side," Worcester manager Carl Heeley told BBC Sport. "We're nine games unbeaten now, so we're a good footballing side. But to come to a League One club and to beat them on their own patch - it's a brilliant day."

Coventry boss Steven Pressley said: "This defeat ranks as one of the worst in the club's history."

Blyth's Robbie Dale maintained his record of scoring in every round of this season's competition with two against Altrincham, while Danny Maguire also scored twice for team from the seventh tier of English football.

Aldershot were nine minutes away from a famous win over their Hampshire rivals, but Danny Hollands' header earned the former Premier League side a replay.

Bradford City came from behind against non-league opposition, overcoming an early FC Halifax Town goal to win 2-1 thanks to two goals in quick succession early in the second half.

Two deflected goals from Gary McSheffrey were enough to give Scunthorpe United victory at Forest Green Rovers, while League One pair Chesterfield and Colchester put six past Braintree and Gosport Borough respectively.

Maidstone United, of the Ryman Premier Division, held Stevenage of League Two to a 0-0 draw, while a lacklustre encounter between Notts County and Accrington Stanley ended in the same scoreline.

Rob Ramshaw hit a hat-trick as Gateshead eased to a 4-0 win away at Norton United, while Wrexham are also into the second round after a 3-0 victory at home to fellow Conference side Woking.

The second-round draw takes place on Monday at 19:00 GMT. You can watch it live on BBC Two and the BBC Sport website.

Friday:

Warrington Town made light of a 100-place gap between themselves and Exeter in the football pyramid to reach the FA Cup second round at Cantilever Park.

The Northern Premier Division One side, the lowest-ranked team in the FA Cup, were in the first round for the first time in their 64-year history.

Defender and plasterer Craig Robinson headed in the winner on seven minutes.

League Two Exeter's David Noble volleyed against the bar before Matt Grimes's shot was cleared off the line.

Warrington's part-time players were exhausted by the end but a mixture of brave defending, good goalkeeping and fortune meant the eighth-tier side celebrated a huge FA Cup upset, sparking a jubilant pitch invasion at the final whistle.

Me too Annis, would love us to have a cup run this year! Can't see it unfortunately, think some League One sides would easily beat us.
