I think in fairness that the disappointment has occurred because we've lost to teams at the bottom of the table. I share that feeling but I also feel that we need to be patient with Slade. We've had some great results at home but on the road, it's been woeful at times.

There have to be more goals. Last year we had plenty of goals for but let in too many. If we start to finish better you can guarantee favourable results.

Could of swore we lost yday listening to some of the fans on here! We haven't got a god given right to win every match against anyone in this league, championship is a league where anybody can beat anybody that for me is why it's the best league in the world for me, yes away form is worrying but championship season is a long one and I'm sure there will be alot of twists and turns to come

Soon as I read this post I thought of ole. Everyone used to moan about ole some used to say give ole more time, me included. I have been one of the ones moaning at slade and i admit he needs more time to prove himself and it is still early days.
But everyone has different opinions and there are certain things i see with slade that don't fill me full of confidence that he is the right man to get us promoted. The original poster makes reference to Chelsea but this is why we are going wrong imo, slade and mourinho pick the same group of players and go for continuity which is good and both strive to have organised teams which is good, but mourinho does this with having his best and most talented players in the team which slade can't do..

I hope im wrong and will give slade the benefit of the doubt but unless slade can add a bit more creativity and goal scoring threat to his side then I think we will fail in achieving our goal.

I think that the squad is the problem not Slade. We lack creativity, drive and leadership in midfield. We need a striker who troubles defences in his own right and takes chances and we need a leftback who plays similarly to how Brayford plays on the right.

Dahli is amazing to watch but there is no end product in terms of goals or assists therefore he is a luxury we can't afford. Ravel is injured again, is he likely to ever be fit enough to play a run of 90 minute games? Unfortunately we'll have to write off Guerra now I think we've lost his commitment which is a waste. The rest on the sidelines aren't good enough. Jones is ok as an impact player but changes our entire game plan to long ball. Find a decent partner for le Fondre as he is playing the big man role because Macheda is a Jessie in the air. Le gindre will do ok if he is not expected to win the ball in the air and chase the knock down himself.

Slade cant do much with this lot tbh. We need Adeyami to be fit and performing. A big mobile forward a captain and a left back who can defend as well as help out in attack.

We have four, maybe five quality players in Marshall, Manga, Brayford, Fabio snd Noone, with a tenacious battler in Gunner. Given that the only other 2 players in the squad with real quality I.e.Ravel snd Daehli may never play for us again, do you really think we can do anything noteworthy in the Championship?

No matter what happens, it seems our fans will ALWAYS find something to whine about. Our last six games are W3 D1 L2 so it's hardly the end of the world. We're mid table, our home form is currently excellent and our away seems to be improving.

Still everybody is throwing their toys out of the pram because they think going for a lower league manager is "beneath us"... newsflash. we're not that big a club. We're not man city, we're not chealsea, and nor would I want us to be. Slade can do a good job for us, and from the looks of it he's already improved things at the club, getting us some great wins against top sides like Forest and Ipswich (who are currently 4th in the table).

I'm pretty sure the moaning is mostly being done by people just because they are pissed off at the rebrand and need something to moan about because moaning about the rebrand constantly just pissed people off.
