We have not had anyone like that since Chopras first season with us.

The nearest we have come is Bothroyd before his only international game went to his head.

Miller was mean't to be our goal machine for Malky but he turned out to cost us a league cup final win. Then came Maynard who has never recovered from that injury, Campbell who had chances but blew it and finally Acorn who is best forgotten.

This season with the names we have up front you honestly would think there was a 20 goal a season man there. It is looking like we will be lucky to get one in double figures.

The problem is they are not easy to find if you have a 30 goal player in your team your going to be up there come the end of season.

We've got decent centre backs, full backs, wingers and ok strikers. We lack a midfield player that can dictate a game. As good as Gunnar is he's not good enough to do that away from home.
