' Cardiff City Fans today '

2,004 City fans travelled today :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Our fans made a great atmosphere at the start, but as the game got worse, the quieter our fans became in the first half and who could blame them?

Quite a few shouts of "Russell, Russell, sort them out" as well which was a bit worrying.

Honeymoon period over?

Yeah by our 15 year old pissed up fans who only know the championship and beyond. God help some of our fans if they had to go back to watching lower league stuff but most probably they wouldn't be there.

I thought we were pretty quiet today, considering the numbers. It certainly ain't what it used to be following City away :sleepy2:

We were a bit quiet considering what we are normally like away. However the game was awful AND it does seem that our following is getting older and older - anyone else notice this ? :-)

I'm surprised sometimes that we have so many yoof attending, considering how expensive and how boring away trips are compared to how it was when we were young :old: If I was a teenager now, I don't think that football and all it's sanitised atmosphere and over commercialism would interest me  I'd definitely be doing something else with my Saturdays

Well done Gaffa, calling our players twats! And that's the problem these days, no respect at all.

Annis this is an age old debate and the fans do try to raise the team, but it's always gone hand in hand! When your playing well, attacking and scoring then the fans respond! While the blue has ripped out the heart I think the majority of our most passionate fans now have families and attend less games! That's a fact! When they come out like they did Everton away then you get a superb atmosphere. Am 37 and I will upset a few people, but the younger lads these days don't create a good atmosphere! Not enough variety in songs and expect to much! They have only ever seen a team in the top 7, they don't understand a team can struggle! That's life and that's football! That's when you need to get behind them!

Works both ways play with some pride and guts to reward the fans for spending their hard earned cash to support them.

There is a lot of truth in what u say,but honestly, I actually said half way through the first I felt like falling asleep, both team were playing like a pre season friendly(first half).
I do agree on this, Weve song when weve lost 7-2,7-1,6-1 etc, but a lot of those diehards dont go no more. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Can't really recall if it was done or not. There was quite a few chants for blue though through the game.

Good effort young man. Don't get hung up by the old guts reminiscing about the past, make your own history :-)

No point in looking back in the past now all we can do is keep looking towards makes me sad to say but our history has gone now we need to start over again and the new generation of fans need to pull their fingers out and a lot of youngsters traveling away now that I know we go in numbers now support the club throught thick and thin I was there fIr the fa cup the playoffs the carling cup back in the days haha but thatwas the old Cardiff we just need to get our arises into gear gget back into Blue and start over but we must go about it the right way so that we dint end up doing a Portsmouth and slipping into lower divisions  :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :brave:

Nukes....it was unfortunate that there was an intence burst of play going on, right in front of us and the crowd missed 1927.
