We've seen all of the above during the reign of Russell Slade.
Does he have any idea about what he's doing?

Noone switched to full back late in the game when we had injuries and used up all our substitutions...and we still held on to win that game!
Brayford looked comfortable at left back today and we kept a clean sheet. Brayford played centre back and centre midfield for Derby too, so I can only assume Nigel Clough didn't know what he was doing either?
When did Le Fondre play left midfield? Le Fondre has started up front in every game since Slade has come in.
Slade has a 100% winning record at home and today he made changes to make us more solid and organised away from home to keep a clean sheet. I think Slade knows what he's doing.

Le Fondre played in front of Noone in the game that Noone went to full back. The goal we conceded (Forest I think) came down that left hand side.
But we still held on to win despite having injuries and no remaining substitutions. Also, it was Daehli down the left, not Le Fondre!![]()
How did it work out for Nigel Clough at Derby then? Was he successful? Is he still in charge?
Well he took Sheffield United to the FA Cup semi final last season, with Brayford being one of his key players.![]()
We kept a clean sheet against the worst team we have played against away all season - big deal!
But it's still a clean sheet which is an improvement to conceding 3 at Bolton last Tuesday.![]()
Do you reckon Turner would have been a viable attacking option against Bolton?
Throwing centre backs or a big man up front late in the game to give an extra attacking option to score is a common thing in football.![]()

Fa Cup semi final a success?![]()
Did Brayford play left back for them in their run to the semi- final?
Throwing centre backs on to give an extra attacking option to score is a common thing? When you have in your squad a proven striker who scored 16 goals last season in one of the top Leagues in Europe who you won't even look at?![]()
Is the fact that we have managed to keep a clean sheet for the second time this season a genuine cause for celebration?

Well done Russell - promotion is well within reach!

Well done Russell - promotion is well within reach!
If Russell continues his 100% winning record at home and gives us more clean sheets away from home, promotion will be well within reach! An FA cup semi final for a League 1 club is definitely a success. Guerra isn't getting into the squad because Slade isn't liking his attitude in training and Ole has brought in too many players who don't have the correct attitude which is why it's all gone wrong since Malky was sacked. Idiots were calling for Malky to be sacked after our 0-0 away draw at Stoke because the football was "too boring" for them. Keeping a clean sheet in any game is a cause for celebration because if we keep a clean sheet, we can't lose! Today was a decent point against an improved Birmingham team who had beaten Watford last Tuesday, yet you're not satisfied and choose to do a post slating Slade. Incredible!
