The craic on the coach, the pub stop and the journey home are always fun, the debates and the banter are second class among our regulars.
But the ninety minutes of football is hard to watch.
I don't know what Fabio did to be dropped, he wasn't injured otherwise he would not be on the bench.
The players tried a lot harder than I they did at Bolton but it still wasn't nowhere near the level it needed to be to beat a poor Birmingham, yes Birmingham have improved under their new manager but they really are a poor team.
I was hoping that Slade would have made changes in the midfield and up front to add creativity to a forward line that has been misfiring away from home badly.
We all would have loved to have gone into the international break with our first away win but it wasn't to be, we are not as good as we think we are and it is something Russell Slade must sort out fast, it is not his doing but he has taken the job and it has become his problem to overcome.
