Here we go then. Slade on the future of Mats Daehli
Ravel Morrison had had the nod over Mats. On top of that in all fairness Mats has had an injury that gives him trouble now and again.
I am meeting his agent, but don’t read too much into that. I have had meetings with a number of agents and representatives as a matter of course.
As we sit here I am not looking to move him on and it would be a big fee for him to move on.
Mats is not as happy as he could be because he wants to play. We have to get him 100 per cent and go from there.

He has a hip injury which causes a problem. It is causing a real tightness and has an effect on him. It’s not going away quickly.
Like all players he must be up for the fight. He has quick feet, can find pockets of space and just because he isn’t six foot tall doesn’t have to go against him. I don’t see why he can’t cope with the physicality.
It could be a possible that Mats may be sold or loaned out, but he could also be here for another two years. All options are possible
What about Javi Guerra?
He is not in my immediate plans. He had a fantastic season in Spain, but has not shown that form in training or development matches so far.

We will see whether we can do something in January. We have been open with him and we may sell him or loan him out.

guerra at least hes not given up on him but guess its down to player to impress in training if he wants to stay!

I agree.
We don't see or know what's going on in the background & it is up to Javi to impress & show the right attitude.
Saying that, I would love to see him brought forward to a place on the bench though as this would surely motivate him in the right direction & be a good bit of man management.

yes especially as jones unavailable, dont see point of bringing maynard on as to similar to alf & machaeda! at least guerra as class to do something different!

I can see Guerra leaving in the summer if he doesn't leave in January, same with Cala.

Can fast forward the season after this total tool being slate gets sacked. Decent squad best players sold for cloggers from league 1 & 2
