Talent Pool

Thu Nov 06, 2014 7:06 pm

I was more than prepared to give Mr Slade a chance, but the other side of that coin was I expected him to spend quality time evaluating the talent at his disposal and making judgements based on giving his whole squad the opportunity to impress. I know that time is short but it almost appears that anything or anyone slightly tainted with the Ole era becomes naturally "damaged goods".

This is probably the first time in our managers career that he has been exposed to a talent pool of this quality and diversity and my fear is that he has neither the experience or indeed time allowed in the "Tan Plan" to evaluate and then get the best out of this potential play off squad.

A real shame that may well end in mid table mediocrity.

Agree, it just doesnt make any sense, I thought Slade would have been brought in to make the most of the talent we have. He just seems to leave them out.

Agree. Ralls getting in front of ravel and daehli is crazy. Plus guerra not getting anywhere near. Turner now needs to replace morrison as well.
