Slade vs Young team selection

Some think Slade is influenced by Young in his team selection, especially with re to our most gifted technical players.
Lets be look at the stats for those players under Young/Gabbidon
Ravel: a sub for his first 2 game here, then in the starting line up but got injured and unable to play for the rest of the games Young/Gabbidon was in charge
Matts: Started at least 2 games, sub in the others. Had his first start in his ideal position, no 10 ( even OGS didn't play him there).
Young and Gabbidon also had the balls to play Matts and Rav together which resulted in 30 min of beautiful football
Guerra, had his only start since joining City under Young/Gabbidon. He may have had a fall out with Young but at least he was given a chance to start a game, unlike with Slade and OGS.
Under Slade
Ravel, no starts, benched all 5 games, usually a sub at the end of the game.
Matts, benched 3 times, not in squad 2 times, 20 min as a sub for a sub
Guerra never in squad, think he was in 20 man squad once when Jones was injured.
Conclusion, its slade that favours workhorses over technically gifted players.

The argument against that could be that due to the fall out between Young & Guerra, Young has had some say.
I do not believe that a new manager would go to a club and not have at least a look at other players unless he has been pointed in the wrong direction.
Young/Gabb did not start Ravel against Blackpool either. He was on the bench and came on late on. He then got injured.

He is no worse than the other players.
They all seem to be flagging after the 60-70 minute mark and that's where we have conceded a lot of goals!
Macheda looks as if he is flagging after the 10 th minute

Agree, Id start him but he wouldnt last the full game

I think Tan got what he was looking for. The opposite of what he had. Just like when he sacked Malky. The squad needs a totally rebuilding again.
