with rudy, he never really showed any real sign he was going to be a good player when he was here so you can't blame the club to selling him. as for cowie, he was a decent player who we offered a contract to, but he was wanted more by wigan.

I would have kept Rudy as he would have set up nicely in our squad this season, as for Cowie, I'm glad he's gone and don't ever want him back. His work rate was good but imo he's not a very good player so Wigan can keep him. Besides he wouldn't get in our midfield these days

I'll certainly vouch for Steve's comments here, he has always admired and supported Rudy and never once slagged him off in any way, shape or form.
