when we arrived at the pub in Bolton sam was sat there with a big smile on his face laughing at the sign welcoming the sheep shaggers
un be known to us he had set that up with the land lady aswell as arranging a FREE BAR for all of us
now I know he knows carl and annis but the other 20 or so he had not met before
he had time for everyone listening and talking to all
so sam on behalf of all of us I say a very big thank you

I got there before you lot as you know. He asked me how much a free bar would be for the guys coming on the coach. It was a lot of money but he had no hesitation paying for it. Putting aside the bad press he has had of some it still was a generous jester from him.

I can see why so many feel he is a peoples fan. I can't imagine Tan doing that. Listening to him last night he is passionate about the club. I just feel he needs to accept a bit more what we are.
