I agree away from home Slade needs to change tact and stick 5 across the middle.

However to suggest he's out of his depth, he's a dinosaur, we should've got Pulis...zzzzzzzzzz

It didn't happen, in fairness to the manager he's at least playing players in positions they are used to and at home we are starting to get it together.

Give it time. The Championship as we all know too well is a slog. I'm yet to see any stand out side & that goes hand in hand with the fact anyone can beat anyone on a given day in this division. It's so unpredictable.

We'll be fine especially if/when Slade works out how to take points away from home.

we are still 11th only bournmouth pulled away to night so plenty time to correct things after all its only 2 games hes had away

I want to see Slade learn from these last two away games.

I want to see changes in the team for Saturday and I want to see evidence of a change of approach in away games with a change of tactics where necessary.

The season isn't just about home games - we are one of only two teams in this division who have not won away, the other being the team at the bottom of the League.

We have just been outplayed and well beaten by a team in the bottom three having previously been outplayed by a Millwall team on a terrible run.

For me, the jury is still very much out on Mr Slade, knee jerk or not.

Well said mate! Relief from another end of the world thread! It's as if some people on here have never followed a season in the championship before.

Well done, sensible post. I'll accept a defeat or two if Slade realises his mistskes and acts upon them. Only time will tell

we are shite away
we are losing away to the bottom teams
We don't seem to be improving away
I can't say where a clean sheet and away win will come from

Best post on here from a level headed realistic fan! I got bored after ten the world is about to end posts. Have said it before quite recently, one good performance and people get carried away, one bad one and were getting relegated. I for one would have taken the position we are in when slade took over. Get a grip for FFs and support your team.

Ok how about being realistic and realise where we are at! When we were pinching one nil away wins under malky people still moaned! People wanted 5 nil with a goal by a thunderbolt of lightning from a players backside! Never pleased!

Theres a lot of happy clappy people on this forum who go into delirium when we win and think were suddenly Barcelona or when Whittingham scores hes suddenly Lionel Messi. The fact is we are distinctly average. Apart from some decent defenders, we have a midfield amongst the worst in the division which barely functions snd we have a misfiring strikeforce starved of opportunities. Some of us who were hoping for better things will be bitterly disappointed with midtable mediocrity.
