Slade's Team Selections

I have to praise Slade for keeping a mostly settled team each game so far.

However, I cannot work out how he picked Macheda for his first game in charge instead of Jones or Guerra and how he loves to pick Joe Ralls.

You have to think that Scott Young has had some input into selection with both players getting a run out when he was in charge.
I cannot see what they see in Joe Ralls. Nothing against him but we have far better midfielders at the club. Why is he picked ahead of them? What does Joe Ralls offer?

Every manager seems to identify their favourites and they stick with them through thick and thin. Both Malky and Ole seemed to have their favourites. It looks like Slade likes Macheda and Ralls.

I would have liked to see Ravel Morrison start tonight.

would you drop macheda on this form for maynard or guerra who are both surely not match fit having not played much?

Am i the only one who thinks ralls is half tidy? The guerra thing been done to death, I have no doubt if everything was ok and guerra has the right attitude then he would be on bench at very least. Clearly he isn't in the 20 and will be shipped out.

Other than score the goals Mavheda has done nothing. Yes goals voucher t but one has been a deflection, one a tap on and the best the pass into the Forest net. He wins nothing in the air or do any running off the ball. I must have been watching a different fame on Sat but The only thing I saw Ralls do was to lose the ball and then run back and give a free kick away. We have far better players than Ralls.

Macheda scores goals which is what you want from your striker, has many faults but is improving. I was judging ralls as a player not on one game.

Still early days for Slade but not impressed with the fact you leave the best creative midfielder (Ravel Morrison) on the bench and Daehli not even in the squad! Instead Joe Ralls is picked instead!

No sign of Guerra and 3 centre backs on the bench. I would love to know who is picking the team, Slade, Young or a combination of both, but it's clear that there are favourites and they will not move away from that. Disappointing.

3 centre halves is ridiculous I have to say whatever the result.
