Nicky Maynard has had only three starts this season getting the one goal, then on as a sub for a few mins here and there.

Adams had 8 starts, for me give him a run of games up top in place of Adam see what he does, if it don't work out then fine sell him, for me there is goals in him for sure.

Maynard wouldn't score for Ely Rangers

Since his injury Maynard looks terrible to be honest, not sharp at all I can't understand why he's even on the bench. Guerra should start.

Unfortunately it seems Maynard's injury has ruined his career. He should be loaned out to a League 1 club for regular games to see what he can do. He still has the ability to be a top striker in the Championship. His goal away to Accrington last season when he had his back to goal, flicked it over his head and rolled it into the corner was breathtaking.

Totally disagree about Le Fondre mind. Le Fondre has played well since Slade has come in and was fantastic against Leeds. He had no right to win the flick on for Machada's goal and he's had to run himself into the ground to make up for Macheda's lack of effort. In the future, I can see Le Fondre scoring lots of goals feeding off Kenwyne Jones. When playing up front with Macheda however, I think any striker will have to put in a bit of extra work to compensate and not have many opportunities created.

I believe that Guerra is the best striker at the club but he has not had a look in.

Kenwyne Jones is the clubs top scorer even though he has missed a few of the recent matches.

Le Fondre is a proven goalscorer who is out of touch but offers a lot. Needs to play alongside a ball winner & not Macheda.

I would put Maynard next in line just ahead of Macheda. He may have scored 3 goals but Macheda makes Jay Bothroyd look like a coiled spring running around the pitch non stop for 90 minutes. He does very little running off the ball & wins nothing in the air.

I think Maynard has had his fair share of game time albeit many sub appearances but he was favoured by Ole & then Young. Other than score a tap in against Wigan I cannot recall him having an attempt on goal.

It's working - we're winning - don't change it especially for Maynard! Why gamble?

Understand what you are all saying, Guerra not seen since bust up with Young, we play 3 games a week most of the time, just feel we should start him tonight In his right position up front and give him a chance to prove him self before the transfer window. like I say he has only started 3 times and got the winning goal agaist wigan.

But you are all right, he looks a little lost on the pitch at the mo! I'm not even sure if he has started more than 10/12 games since he's been here, one last chance I say
