Bruno Ecuele Manga Appreciation Thread

What made that performance so good yesterday?

I thought the way he bossed the game was brilliant to see, I remember he trapped the ball when coming down from the air and thinking 'wow, that was really assured.' The guy oozes class, really good passer, great physique for a centre back and uses it to let his opposite number know he's around and going nowhere.

He is really assured in possession and that spreads confidence throughout the team. Looks like he will chip in with a few goals to top it all off :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

If he stays fit, continues to play like that, forget Daelli, this man will see his market value rise substantially this season. Just hope we can keep him, I accept Tan is not going to sell the club so it is in his interest to keep players of this calibre to increase the club's value with a successful team.

3 good centre-backs and 1 outstanding one. The competition between Morrison and Turner to partner Bruno is very healthy, if you have an excellent centre back pairing, maybe we don't need a holding midfielder for this league in midfield, what you need is aggression and Gunarsson has been very influential lately as I believe he has been told to be more aggressive.

Great win yesterday, lets enjoy watching Bruno Ecuele Manga for as long as possible, this man won't be playing Championship football for that long, and I certainly enjoyed his performance yesterday :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Ole's legacy, in Ole's defence of his turbulent time in charge, he stated days before his resignation how proud he was of this capture, well done to the scouting team and Ole. Very surprised someone like Newcastle or Everton didn't snap him up. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

he must of been a late developer, no disrespect to Lorient (well a little) seems strange a player of quality was not scouted and transferred to a bigger club in his early to-mid twenties.

At this early stage of his career he looks one of the best signings in our recent history not that is much to beat mind. He looks better every game and his reading of the game is top notch. Cheers Ole.

Great signings ? Don't make me laugh. Manga is the only decent one. Whoever found him deserves our thanks. Surely it couldn't have been Ole.
