Slade got it massively wrong today

First half was shit but we kept going and got our rewards

His decision to put kenwyn jones on over Morrison or Maynard was league 2 stuff and nearly cost us a win .
We were very comfortable playing the ball on the floor and dominating the game until he chose to put jones on and we reverted to the long ball game which cost us the goal and put us under pressure . Don't let the third goal mask the 'problem today it was a lucky goal . We were awful once he came on !

He really needs to look at that for the next game , they had some big boys in the team who easily dealt with The supposed threat of jones !

We are much better without him that's a fact !

Apart for that it was a great performance and we look good for at least a play off place

to go up against the run of play and score.

some of our players have sunday league physiques, le fondre is not enough talented but goals get you points we need more up front imo.
Both him and macheda still look rusty sluggish off the pace
still able to do a job but in my mind I expect to see the best because that's the ambition the club has.

But in all honesty we can make top six without a doubt. we need somethingextra on the road to mount a challenge

please go back to a video and show me how KJ is in any way responsible for their goal. The problem was a little bit of luck from them and gunnar not marking their player on the edge of the box and Noone not making the challenge....Have a look at how fast KJ has become when he closed down their keeper, have a look at his desire when he didn't give up to take his goal from a lost cause and have a look at his power to get above his man and almost grab a second......he was far more effective than Macheda and you need to sit down and watch the game until you are able to take personal bias for players out of your analysis and give credit where it's due....if KJ screws up then i'll agree with you, until then you're a knob.

Kenwynne looked dangerous when he came on and Leeds defenders struggled to cope with him. He was getting us free kicks as they were trying to tug his shirt all the time with a couple of yellow cards handed out.

I thought it was going to say Jones should have been on earlier as Macheda goes hiding especially as Jones is flying home today. Jones did as much as macheda in his 15 mins than macheda did in his 75min. I am not sure on either of them and if I knew where to find the data I bet ALF won more headers from Marshall than either of them.

Jones makes us too one dimensional and Macheda doesn't do enough. Shame we only have about 8 forwards to choose from.

I said exactly that as soon as Jones came on.

We were dominating before and looked far less effective after the change.

I also thought it was a mistake not to have Daelhi on the bench. Although Ralls did OK yesterday if we'd gone behind he wouldn't have been much help. Daelhi would have been a much better replacement.

In the end it was a good win against a very poor Leeds. Although you can't argue with 3 wins from 4 you can point to decisions each game that might well have turned that into 3 losses and 1 win.

I'm not unhappy with Slade but let's not fool ourselves into thinking he's the finished article just yet.

Cannot understand all these calls for daehli! He is not good enough. Too slow, hold on to ball too long, not strong enough and doesnt have positive influence on game. Hes simply not good enough

it did look as if it was shaping up to be a nervy finish after they pulled us back to 2-1, i agree with you there.

but after morrison came on he controlled the game and it was over at 3-1. it was a lucky goal but you take them however they go in. i don't see how you can blame the manager here, but there we go

We appear a fan base that is impressed by fancy flick or turn. I guess Ralls and Matts have roughly played the same amount of minutes but who has the most goals ?

Bringing our top scorer on when winning 2-0 is not getting it wrong...Jones played Yesterday following a terrible personal loss and was fouled quite badly in the lead up to the Leeds goal...their only real chance all game apart from a Morrison header.

He ran at the goalkeeper who panicked and then had an easy tap in, but he had to make that run to make it happen, he was also desperately unlucky not to add a second in injury time.

I am finally starting to enjoy the season after an awful start under Ole...the players look fitter and go to the end of the game instead of running out of puff...before Today we had only scored one goal all season after the hour mark in games...Today we scored 3...we need to enjoy the good moments in the season like the second half Today and give credit to Slade, Young, coaching staff and the players for the obviously improvement, especially in results and fitness of the squad.

Some bandwagons being jumped on here. 9 points from 12 in all games with the new manager, but some see that as less than ok (or want to discredit Slade because he wasn't their choice). Pathetic!!
