What happened

Sat Nov 01, 2014 6:27 pm

Anyone see what happened towards the corner of the Canton Stand today? Heard the commotion but couldn't see what went on from 105.

I think it was a Leeds fan in the Canton who couldn't keep his mouth shut.

Escorted out by the stewards.

Was seat next to me....

Leeds were attacking and he was shouting go on, shoot...

So wen they missed we shouted argh your shit. So he stood up and shouted summin along the lines of shut up or i will knock u out! Me and my mate stood up. Bit of pushing, we didnt wanna get too involved (dont wanna get banned) he thru some pathetic couple of punches even caught one in my hand haha

Some guy from row in fromt pulled him to the floor over seat.

Stewards very slow to react. I said chuck him out!!
They said 'why whats he done??' I said hes a f*cking leeds fan so he got dragged out. And spat over everyone on his way out!

His wife was worse chucking verbals and punches towards up. Told her to f**k off!

Some guy grabbed her by throat! They all scum!

I mean who doesnt observe minutes silence for armed forces and ceterans

To be fair to the leeds scumbags , I think it was the leeds coming into the ground that was making the noise.

Yep it was the Leeds fans in the concourse who sang. They most likely knew nothing about the minutes silence.

Hope someone did a video of the Leeds fan in the canton. Sounds a right pillock.

At first I thought him and his missus was just having an argument with the guy to his right ,but when I tried to calm the situation he just shouted f!!k Cardiff City which meant he got slapped a few times. He was pissed as a parrot and spoke in a s S Walian accent

Even in the concourse area it's pretty obvious when a minutes silence. 20k of people not making a noise is pretty noticeable.

Not really Luke. You here nothing when the concourse is fairly full.

I can forgive them for that. I only really start to hear the noise from teh crowd when I leave the concourse headed for the seats. It can get pretty loud in there and they weren't all to know.

Why you'd go sit in the opposition stand is beyond me though... especially when you're going to start mouthing off... Whoever you mouth off to, you're going to be outnumbered a few hundred to one in the stand alone. just goes to show the mentality.

I was sat with Southampton fans away last time we were both in the championship - we drew 1-1, we scored first, my mate and me jumped up, we got a few comments but nothing much. We didn't give it large, but it was obvious we were City.

Perhaps that's why we didn't get too much :ayatollah:

I always remember that Liverpool fan in the CC final a few years back in the Cardiff end jumping up when Liverpool scored, his little boy was only about 5 or 6 aswell, shocking

It seems though that you and your mate had the distinction of not being know heads.

Different fans can get along, more and more so these days which is great. But going into the opposing end and trying to start trouble is utterly moronic.
