Not very good/poor team etc

Sat Nov 01, 2014 5:47 pm

Why is this said every time we win a game or do well.

It been said after forest, ipswich and Leeds today.

OK Leeds ain't the best but they were only 3 points behind us before today. Ipswich and forest were both above us having had better starts to the season.

I think we should give the team more credit, today second half we were very good.

It's all about agendas & winning doesn't suit some of them.

because slade is tans appointment so there will never be any credit given whatsoever by certain posters
nine points out of a possible twelve and every game the team has come under criticism.

I don't think it's an agenda, I just think our fans generally are to negative and don't give our players enough credit sometimes. It's generally one extreme to another.

Very good post and you have to earn your win in the championship whatever quality your up against, nobody will roll over! Look at brum today??? Perfect example!

I think if we had had exactly the same results and performances with Pulis in charge our fans would be going OTT with excitement.

They all count! At the end of the season, nobody will remember how good or bad opponents have been. They'll look at the points and the league placings.

You are spot on that we don't give enough credit for wins against "lesser" sides. They've all earned a right to play in this league, so beware of complacency.

Great win today to add to the previous under Slade. It's all gravy. :bluescarf:

Correct Steve.

Can I please ask you a question? What do you think the current debt is? Is it 170 million as some say?

Good performance overall. they created nothing , but as well as this being because they were poor it was also because we were strong. Dominated midfield and they got no change out of our back 4.

9 points form 12 form the position we were in is superb and I'm expecting us to get better as Slade settles in.

Desperately need some away performances and points now.

Our opponents haven't necessarily been poor, just that our boys have out worked them in our last 3 home games and made them look poor IMO!

I know, every time we win you get people saying the other team were poor, why? It couldn't be we were the better side which made them look rubbish could it? Some people see negative points no matter how good we play!!

it's laughable, 9 in 12 is 3/4 which if you compare to the league leaders Watford's 29 in 45 is 1 point more in proportion.....therefore on this current point ratio we will win the league, how people are complaining I will never understand.

the season we went up I can only remember 1 dominating performance against Blackburn......we've scored 8 goals in the last 3 home games......that's a bloody good ratio, only a little less than Real Madrid I believe :bluescarf:

Why is 170 million scaremongered about then?

I watched Gunnarson specifically yesterday and he chases everything and gets a foot in time after time. This is contributing to the opposition looking ordinary because he is breaking up a lot of their play. In fairness Pilkington (who I am not a big fan of) also defends and Nooney has improved that element of his game no end too. The defence is much better protected and able to do their job which is also a big improvement.

It wasn't that long ago when we were backing off and conceding space all over the park making anyone we played look like world beaters. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Poor or not you still have to be on your game and be good to take advantage.
