Great win, three wins out of four for Russell Slade. 31 years and counting
But who was your man of the match?
Don't forget, the player from each match with the most MOTM votes will go into a Player of the Month poll. The winner will be who gets the most POTM votes, and this forum will be presenting an award to the winner

Manga for me

Witts for me I thought he controlled the game I know in the last 3rd we were not great but I thought him and Gunnar looked good today. Also thought brayford was up there as he was always an option going forward.

Has to be Manga but thought Macheda had a very good game.

I don't like cider but I'm told that strongbow is better than Magna's

Bruno was fantastic today. Gunnarsson- captain material, should be leading the team out based on recent performances, made a difference having him in the team.
PS is Joe Ralls becoming son of Russell? Seems to be the replacement in every position the last few weeks!

thoughts:-
Marshall - not a lot to do, couldn't stop their goal
Brayford - not quite as good as he usually is
Manga - thought he may get a goal soon, fast becoming my favourite player, looked delighted, full of passion and that was shared by his team mates.
Morrison - Decent but not always his greatest fan, did very well to get the assist though.
Fabio - better than he has been more recently, worked very hard if he lost the ball but surprisingly didn't do as much in attack as normal.
Noone - best game so far, danced a jig past players, hopefully can work on those diagonal balls and he will be a complete player,
Whitts - standard game from him, did what he needed to do.
Gunnar - same as whitts, didn't need to do anything that special from the last few games.
Pilkington - a bit disappointing, I'm convinced that he needs to come much, much narrower and further up field to supplement phases and support the striker, can't seem to beat players when he's at the byline.
Le fondre - Nothing special, still not providing the goal threat that I want him to, perhaps needs more confidence but puts in a shift.
Macheda - classic performance, workrate better than it normally is from him but started wasting opportunities, somehow always manages to get a goal so I can't complain.
Ralls - did surprisingly well on the wing, actually preferred him there because of the little cover he provides in the centre, daft yellow though.
Kenwyne - Nailed it, almost felt harsh n leeds by sending on this much of a handful and it's nice to see Slade have a plan 'b' by using him in a 4-5-1
Ravel - Silky performance, deserves a start but don't know if he would provide enough cover for a 2 man midfield.

he seems to be breeding him into a utility player and he did a job on the wing, can't complain on that performance.

manga was exceptional,we will do well to hold on to him. Also gunnarsson worked himself into the ground and brayford had a solid game on the right,
Couldn't believe how much space leeds gave wittingham who was pulling the strings in the centre.

No no not complaining, he seems to have been the go to guy the last few weeks!

Manga

I was torn between Manga and Fabio, but the super important goal sealed my decision, however another Stella performance from Fabio, player of the season for me so far.

Manga followed by Gunnar. Loved Manga's passion too - his quality is more important but goes without saying. He looks the real deal.

We were rarely troubled by a very average Leeds side, yet we give the motm award to a central defender. It seems we are always looking defensively as opposed to what actually wins us the game.

Manga brought home £522 smackeroons so Manga for me.

Bruno Bruno Manga
Player of the season for sure.

Manga for me followed closely by Whitts, Gunnar and ALF
Once ALF gets a goal, he will gain more confidence....his movement today was different class

I think his performance is about more than defending. He uses the ball, cuts out a lot of danger and got his goal.
