Football fans to run football clubs

A debate is happening on BBC parliament of the running of football clubs.

Baroness McDonagh labour - who is a Don's fan - spoke in favour of a move calling for a root and branch look at governance in football.

Some owners - like Tan - were criticised for ignoring the wishes of fans.

It appears that Labour will be committed to supporting this if they win the next election.

Some favoured supporter ownership but there was an acceptance that this may be problematic for the top premiership clubs.
