Lost to typical Holloway tactics?

Sun Oct 26, 2014 11:40 am

I genuinely think RS will turn the team around this season and push on for a top 6 finish. Yesterday I just think we were done by a typical dirty ian holloway team. If the ref had been stronger and realised what was going on from the start I think we would have won yesterday but we lost our heads in the end. Think we all would have been the same. From the off I felt there were constant late challenges, sly kicks, obstructions off the ball to stop us getting into shape. Not sure how anyone else feel about it but even some of the millwall players were laughing. At the end Whitts and brayford? We're pointing all over the pitch and laughing in disbelief at what had gone on. Was it me or was this happening? Don't get me wrong we were awful and deserved nothing. Thought it was a foul on marshall for the goal and if he gives handball by brayford (I think) in the first half then surely that's a penalty at the end??? Oh yeah and ALF should be shot. There's no excuses for missing that.

Our players are such cry babies. They need to man up ffs. Millwall weren't the most physical side I've ever seen, it's not as if they had eleven Fellaini's on the pitch. Pilkington and Lefondre were an embarrassment.

Spot on mate. Not a lot mentioned about the fouls, but one of the most scrappy games I've seen in a while foul wise. They kicked shit out of us every time we had the ball and had the ref been stronger and shown a few yellows it could have been a better game. Although I've seen fouls given for less than on Marshall I honestly think he could have and should have stayed on his feet to catch the ball, and he knows this too hence why he's apologised. You could tell the game they were playing when pilks and fabio were loosing it first half I bet they were having a right giggle at half time, weak mentality from us we should be wiser.

Have to say that is exactly what I thought. It wasn't that they were that dirty but there was a lot of off the ball stuff going on, late digs etc etc, not convinced the Gunnersson incident was as innocent as sky said. However our players are big boys and should have manned up and just got on with it. They succeeded in winding us up and stopped us playing, the ref was just out of his depth and couldn't see it.

I thought this even before we kicked off. IH teams have always been the same when they play us, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth, QPR, Blackpool, Palace,,,he loves to get one over us, & his snide, post match comments that we think we are a big club is typical of him.
