Reality check

Sat Oct 25, 2014 5:54 pm

Another post from me who doesn't post after the things I read and cringe and laugh at the same time. Why do people come on here and after two good wins think we are going to walk the leauge while the negative people one crap game and were this that and everything else! Get a reality check, we had two great wins, we lost a game, yes we were crap but big deal we lost a game and we move on, this is the championship and we know you will lose a lot of games! The same applies when a player has one food game or one bad game! You get muppets ranting told you so!! After one game!! Totally and utterly clueless! Players have bad games good games and good form and bad form! We were bullied today, simple as that! That doesn't mean anything other than that!

Best post I've read all season I think! My God we had people coming out if the woodwork suffering mass hysteria last week!

Agree completely. Once Gunnar went off we were bullied, the ref didn't get a grip on it at all. Pilkington seemed to lose his head over a challenge I thought was ok and never got his concentration back. Whitts started to get frustrated and got stuck in but apart from that we never really 'looked after' ourselves.

Le Fondre missed 2 great chances which would have put us 2 up, Marshall was fouled for the goal.

The performance was better than any I can remember away this season but we didn't get the bit of luck needed.

We are unlucky to have our 3 central midfielders who will put a foot in out injured. If Adeyemi or Dikgachoi were available yesterday Gunnarson going off wouldn't have been such a big issue.

Good post, but there were a few city players yesterday that did not turn up, the bottled it right from the start, their body language said it all for me and I knew from the off that we were in for a rough afternoon. Players have to be honest ALL of the time, and if they are not ready for a game put someone in who is. :bluescarf:

Great post!

It's the championship - it's what happens. It happened in our championship winning year and it will happen to others too. Some of these fans need to get a grip.

We aren't going to win every game, there will be times where we are poor.

Our away form does need addressing, be it a change in personnel formation or both! Am sure slade will get this sorted, this division has always been tough on the road and you almost have to dig out results away from home the way we did under MM. Not seen one team that is great, shef weds, Ipswich and forest all came with decent away records but very average! All to play for!
