Is This The Most Open Championship Ever

Sat Oct 25, 2014 4:10 pm

18 teams within 10 points after 14 games I can't ever remember it being this wide open. It's not going to take a lot of winning this season and looks open to pretty much any team that can put a strong run of results together.

Disappointing performance today but we are still right in the game and surely this next 10 games are when we need to make a mark on this division.

It's like this every season which is why we need to accept we will lose games! Forest and derby both lost at home! 6 pts from 9 in this division is a good return

Yes, I have a feeling even Fulham and Wigan can achieve promotion this season. We are only 7 points under Derby. The season just started.

I think the positive people who read this forum like myself don't bother posting in fear of bring swamped with all the negativity! Time to start posting! Granted we need to make a few points up but we do have time and 6 from 9 is actually promotion form! The magic 2 points a game so under slade we are looking good! Ok that's over doing it but onwards and upwards

watch out for Fulham, I tipped them to win the Championship, I wrote that off a few weeks back, now 5 wins in 7 puts them right back in the mix. Championship is alot of fun it must be said :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Only 4 in the league. They could be that team that steams through and grabs a late play off place and then has the momentum to carry them up.

After their dreadful start, Fulham fans would be more hopeful than a City fan as the form is good, something's not quite right at the moment for us as we are yet to click. I couldn't help but want better than yesterday after 2 wins, If we can win our home games then losing away now and again is acceptable form for promotion mind :ayatollah:

Our form isn't good?!

We've just won 2 games out of three, with the wins coming against two sides in the top 6!

Some fans need a reality check.

Why is that? Tan has spent fortunes putting this squad together, so it's justified to ask why we can't put a run of more than 2 wins together :thumbright:

Two wins out of three under a new manager & you say our form is no good?!

Delusional.

Our current form over the last 6 games places us 6th in the Championship form table. Not bad for a team who are yet to hit consistent form.

Still everything to play for in my opinion.

Am with chuckles all the way on this!! Yes we could expect to win 3 but football doesn't work like that! I expected a win, we didnt, we were garbage and not up for the fight! Write it off and go again! Steve Mclaren didnt expect to be beaten but correct attitude ! It's going to happen its how you react! Bounce back ability!

Imo the championship is one of the most open and hardest leagues (competitive) in the world with so many teams capable of taking points of each other. Which is why we need consistency which hopefully should start to show whether or not RS has what it takes in this league. Surely more of a chance with him than ole so let's get behind him and team Saturday.

Sad to lose to Millwall, but it was away and it was just a bad bit of defending. Still took 6 from Forest and Ipswich, arguably harder games, and I'm pretty happy with 6 from 9 (although 7 would have been nice). As long as we keep our heads up, don't get complacent, and can deliver at home, we're golden.
