Why is it we keep hearing if Ledley went to Scotland we would receive no fee/compensation due to the law but when we signed Ross McCormack who was out of contract, we paid £120,000 compensation. :?:

Because McCormack was under 23 at the time which means the same compensation rules apply to international Bosman transfers.

In Ledley's case he is under 24 which means the compensation rule only applies to domestic and not international Bosman transfers.

if he goes to scotland he's a fool, he'd be better off staying with us, the championship is a by far a more stronger league than the spl, what has it done for loovens career ,nothing

TBH we'd be better off trying to get Loovens back!!! but not a chance now he's an established 1st team player.

i'd love to see loovens come back to us merlin, and cut our loses in hudson and move the donkey on.
