Swansea being robbed all the time

This is Monk on Sky he is saying that they are being robbed all the time after losing to Stoke today, just my view I thought both penalties were dodgy so can not see where he is coming from but I am sure Dave Jones while our manager said something no way near as bad and was charged and fined by the FA

Risking it a bit accusing other teams players of cheating when you have players like Bony, Dyer & Rangel in your team :laughing6:
Bitter & twisted

I'm no lover of Swansea but I detest Stoke City even more But if Stoke start dishing it out you got to give it back to them they out fought Swansea and that was the difference Gary monk wants to to start manning up you can't play the pretty stuff all the time

Quite funny really, shawcross gives a pen away for pulling bony yet at the other end Taylor pulls on crouches shirt to stop him jumping and nothing happens

Swansea have bony, routledge and dyer in their team. They've had Flores and Gomez plus michu in recent years. You reap what you sow I'm afraid.

The difference being Crouch standing up & appealing & Bony looking for more grass stains

The little old Swansea routine is getting tedious, they were playing hated Stoke.....

I am glad the ref made a stand, but i doubt we'll see another penalty for grappling all season. Funny how they always spot gunnar as well

We know as well as anyone how your luck changes when you are struggling. Loads of decisions seem to go against you which you dont notice when you're winning.

Am I the only one or did anybody else get reminded of Beaker off the muppets when Monk was bleating on about how everybody had it in for him and his team?

at end of day you make your own luck! and they have had some aswell like playing utd when they were crap, even then swans had 1 shot 2nd half and scored that was sum total of their efforts, point is swans will get lucky pen no doubt then what will monk say oh we deserved a bit of luck??? :laughing6:

I saw this game and in fairness, the penalty was an awful decision and he seemed to want to give it because he had already given Swansea one. Lots of naivety shown by Monk to let his emotions get the better of him no matter if what he was saying was true. However they are 8th in the Premier League and id love us to be in their shoes, you wont catch me mocking them until we are there too.

Whatever you or I think, even if Monk had a point, he should have gone through the correct channels rather than bleating on air. If Slade did that, I'm sure many fans would be mortified.

He will be fined for the outburst and Mark Hughes gained the moral high-ground, suggesting that he will bite his tongue when he has gained experience.

The main issue refs have to address is consistency because the wrestling that goes on the the box for corners and free kicks is more often than not ignored. The players need to know that if they pull a shirt or grab an arm ,they risk giving away a penalty. Shawcross regularly man-handles opponents and looked genuinely shocked when he was penalised. Quite funny really!

The Rangel incident was less clear, but if a shirt pull is illegal, then that too should be penalised. Moses may have gone over too easily, but maybe he felt contact and that was his way of showing the ref that he'd been fouled. :thumbright:
