What is this pub like on a match day.?
I phoned today and they said they are serving alcohol and breakfast from 10am for the Forest game but wondering what the atmosphere and place is like on a match day.
Had fairly decent grub in there before but never on football day as normally stick to Canton
Any thoughts guys?

It has the atmosphere of a Toby Carvery full of nuns. A truly shocking pub with queues of families waiting for their meat, then their veg, then their gravy....by which time its all cold which makes them all miserable.
No chants, no foul language and no place for a football fan. Stroll into Canton.

I'm sure you can only drink in there if you buy food on match days.

Correct, it was the licensing agreement they had to commit to before building the place.

Probably the worst pub on a stadiums premises (pretty much) I've ever been to. Zero understanding of its customer base. Anything to do with enjoying the football day is not permitted.
